Hi there friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here and I want to introduce you to a great company that I found, and have enjoyed a class I took, as well as the paper that I have from the "My Colors" heavyweight Cardstock line.
to make this project I used a Stencil/Stamp and Die set from GinaK Designs that was part of the Scrapbook & Cards Today event in March 2021. I am not sure if this will be released to the public, or when, but I really loved it. If it does become available I will update this post with that information. I have linked everything else down below, including the online class I took from Stamp Me Some Love when I was introduced to this company.
Here is my video for how I made this project, and below the video will be a quick step by step, unfortunately without photos, that is what the video is for.
- Cut GinaK White cardstock 3.75" x 5"
- Cut Accent Opaque Cardstock for cardbase 4.25"x 11" score at 5.5"
- Cut "My Colors" Heavyweight Cardstock Black Suede 4" x 5.25"
- Die cut the Hello 4 times, using Ballerina Pink, Rose Chintz, Purple Hearts and Cyber Grape
- Die Cut the Hello Shadow using Black Suede
- using Bearly Art Liquid Glue layer the Hello together, I did Purple Hearts on the top, then Rose Chintz, Ballerina Pink and Purple Cyber Grape on the bottom I then set them aside to dry.
- Using Stencil 1 I used Charming Pink and a blender brush to add three large flowers and partials of another and a small flower to my panel
- using stencil 2 I used Purple Delight to add the inside lines to the flowers
- using stencil 2 and Verdant I added the leaves to my large flowers
- using stencil 3 and purple delight I added the center to my flowers
- using stencil 3 and Cheerful (Yellow) I added the shading to my leaves, I do apologize for calling this color Daffodil in my video, it was hard to read the color on the lid.
- I used my antistatic powder bag and then stamped the "I Really Miss You" sentiment with Versamark ink, sprinkled with Gold mBoss Embossing powder and then heat set that. I then cut to size.
- I added the stacked Hello sentiment to my Black Suede shadow, using the Bearly Art Liquid Glue (I love that it dries clear). And then added it to my card panel.
- I used Scrapbook Adhesives THIN foam squares to adhere my embossed sentiment.
- I found some sparkle jewels that matched the colors in my card and adhered them down
- Adhered all layers using the Bearly Art Glue and with that my project was complete.
