Joy Clair May Release Day 2

Hi there friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here with my Day 2 post for the Joy Clair Designs May 2020 Release. 

Today's projects including cards made using Spring Floral Baskets and Bumble Bear digital stamp sets.

For my first project using Spring Floral Baskets, I think this is my favorite image from the set as I have used it several times. For this card I printed the set, and cut it using my Scan n Cut machine. My pink panel background is a die from KatScrappiness that I just do not use often enough but seemed fitting for his card. 

I colored my flower image using Watercolor pencils and blended using Clear Glitter Wink of Stella. I added a few dewdrops to the center of the flowers as well as around the card base attached the sentiment using liquid adhesive and the flower spray using Adhesive tape for slight dimension. 

For my second project, this Bumble Bear was just screaming for a shaker element. I used a Sun Ray stencil for the background which I used Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide on a panel of Broken China. My images were first printed using my laser printer, and I used a gold foil that barely took, however it did give a trim. I colored the image using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and on the top honeycomb I  used clear glitter Wink of Stella to blend it. The shaker element was made using 2 hexagon shaped dies along with black and gold cardstock. I decided to enclose the "hello Sunshine" sentiment inside the shaker for added fun.

Sweet Friend, A Springy Fun Card

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with a fun project I made for the April GinaK Designs monthly card Challenge.

For this card I used the GinaK Designs Sweet Camillia Stamp set. For my Background I used Alcohol inks to ink up the background using Watermelon, Sunshine Yellow and Sunset Orange.
Once dry I put my panel in my MiniMisti and stamped the Camillia set using GinaK Amalgam ink.
I stamped the sentiment using the same black ink on white cardstock, and layered the floral and sentiment panels with red cardstock.
I adhered my panels to a white 4.25"x5.5" top folding A2 cardbase.

Joy Clair May Release Day 1

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here with my first day stop on the Joy Clair May Release Blog Hop... Today we are featuring Floral Joy and Cup Of Joy digital sets, and let me just say, they are so fun to play with. I have made more cards with this release in the short time we have played with them than any other set, you will see more projects next month that I have made.
NOW... here are the two that I have made for today...

For this first project I used one of the images from the Floral Joy set. First I printed it out on my laser printer, and used Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers to color it, I used a Wink of Stella Clear glitter pen for my blending. The background panel was created in rainbow fashion using various Gelato's and a stencil. 

For this second card I used the Cup of Joy set, and Ohuhu Alcohol Brush Markers to color. I  used Spectrum Noir Clear Shimmer pen to add shine to the flowers.

You're Purrrty Awesome, a #7kidscraftsfirstever post

Here is the project that I made using the newly released Kitten Gems stamp set. I love making shaker cards, so it only seemed fitting that I do one for this cute project.

To make this card, I stamped out the image of the bow, masked it, then stamped the kitty, this way the appearance is that the bow is on the kitty's head and since I want that to appear in front it must be stamped first. I then stamped out my sentiment.
I had cut seven layers of the WoodGrain frame in grey, once in pattern paper and once in black. I cut 2 sheets of acetate to 4" x 5.25" to fit the frame, and I adhered the panel of pattern paper to the inside of the frame. I added the 'white diamonds sequin mix' another panel of acetate to the top to close the shaker element in, I added the black frame panel to the front and the shaker element was complete.
I colored the kitty using Ohuhu Alcohol Brush Markers, added Blue glaze pen to the eyes for a blue color tent. Added Stardust Gel Pen to the color and gem on the color, and glitter stickle dots to the kitty's panel. A little Lucky Clover Distress Oxide was brushed under kitty to ground her.
I cut the sentiment strip in a angled banner shape, and layered that on black cardstock. I added the entire shaker element on a 4.25" x 5.5" top folding cardbase, and my project was complete.

Spicy Like That... a new Joy Clair Release

For my first card I had to use Senor Peno and Mamacita Margarita!!! I colored these images up with my Ohuhu Alcohol Brush Markers, They are popped up on a background panel I created using a Darice embossing folder and inked up using LadyBug Red Memento ink. These two are just partying the night away. I used my Spectrum Noir Shimmer Pen around the rim of the glass to simulate the salt, and a few streaks using a White Gel Pen completed this card.

For my second card I used Distress Oxide inks in Candied Apple and Lucky Clover to make a background of colors in the Mexican Flag. I then colored up the Sombrero using my Ohuhu Brush Markers. After adding a few Nuvo Drops in Woodland Green and Autumn Red my project was complete.

Last Call Monday- Joy Clair Designs

Hey there friends and fellow crafters. Starting today, the third Monday of each month I am going to feature a stamp set from the Last Call section of the Joy Clair store.
Today that stamp set is going to be...
"FUNNY FOODS"
This set is so cute, and I just had to play with it before it is gone.

For this first card, which is 4.25" x 4.75" I used VersaFine Clair Nocturne for all my stamping.

This 4.25" x 5.5" Top Folding card was stamped using Memento Pear Tart ink.

This card was stamped using VersaFine Clair "Nocturne" and colored in Memento LadyBug Red. 

I had so much fun with the images making my own background paper, and then stamping the sentiment to pop up on the front of each 4.25" x 5.5" top folding card. The first card is a 4.25" x 4.75" top folding card.
3 cute cards to tell someone just how you feel about them, or to encourage someone to cheer up.

How Ya Bean???

Hi there friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here with a post from The Makers Movement using their cute little Coffee Stamp/Die set called "A Latte Love". I also used the "Special Delivery" die set to make a gift card holder on the inside of this easel card.

 First I used the A Latte Love die set to cut the Coffee Cup, Label, Lid and Sentiment Banner. I used my scissors to cut out a kraft colored banner to layer the coffee cup on.

The main base is a 4.25"x11" scored one time at 5.5" and once at 2.75". The pattern paper is from the American Crafts "#Summer", 6"x6" paper pad.
I used the envelope die and cover layer set to cut out the gift card holder and adhered it to the inside of the card using score tape. I did cut off the top part of the envelope as I was not going to need it for this project.
I finished this project off by stamping the cute face and 3 hearts along with the sentiment from the included stamp set from "A Latte Love".
The inks I used were VersaFine Clair Pinecone, and Nocturne, along with Memento Rose Bud. The finishing touch was the Small Coffee Bean's from Kat Scrappiness.

Keep In Touch and Big Hugs from Joy Clair Designs

Hi there friends and fellow crafters. Hope all is well and everyone is staying healthy.
Today I am here with a couple fun projects I made using new images from Joy Clair Designs.

For my first card I used the digital Potted Succulents set and colored using alcohol markers. The sentiment came from the Everyday Sentiments stamp set.

For my second card I used the Succulent Frame Digital set (Also available in Clear Stamps) and the sentiment came from that same set. I colored using alcohol markers.
